A new beginning..

In the spirit of manifestation, I  have  a ‘list’ of 30 things to do before my Birthday which is on 30th of November ..

of  this list, the only one thing that is pending is … to start my BLOG

…So here I am 10 minutes before my birthday (pressing timelines always work! ) , racking my brain to come up with a topic for my very first BLOG ..

I’ve had the privilege to be a global citizen currently residing in Singapore &  to have dreams that expand outside of the country I was born in (India). Life has been a daring adventure & I have been fortunate to have great friends with which I have shared this  journey. Today, my friends are scattered all over the world & we all are wrapped in our own little worlds..

I often wonder what my friends remember me for, or what makes them smile when they think of me (have had my fair share of goofy moments /boo boo’s ).. or if I have had an impact to their life …or a defining moment..

So friends, I guess I have found the first topic of the blog..

I’d love if you could send in YOUR comment  as a Birthday Gift in CyberSpace & enrich my blog in the same way you have enriched my life ..

Guess this might be an unconventional subject for a Blog,but its the best I can think of as the clock strikes 12!!

    Now the first day in your new year or soon to be, reading your first blog, I thought it only fitting to write about the first picture of you that comes to mind…Sitting in the van driving back from the hunter valley dinner full of a semi drunk team, laughing over Rogers simple little task on paper that had the onelife crew very confused and you sitting next to me. Moody and half asleep 🙂 Now seeing your profiles online I wish I had taken that picture and we would have another first for your profile pic’s (one where you don’t look perfect haha). On a day for many more exciting first beginnings I wish your all the best, happy birthday today wherever you are in the world. I know you will be having fun. Bobby

    In the words of m.i.a you are the embodiment of “super india babe” – how can one not be lured by the external features you possess Darshana? I remember the first time I saw you and it was like my life of bollywood flashing before my eyes. Is she real? Where is gods paintbrush? Do people really look like this? I wanted to break out into a cheesy dance and could already here the sitars being played in the heavens.

    But superficial introductions aside we know that once you start getting into your late 20’s as it seems you are(? please forgive me I don’t know) beauty on the outside is no longer a result of just hitting the genetic jackpot but having beauty on the inside. Naturally, I am living proof of that.

    But for you, fortunate you are your beauty is sustained and stands against the test of time and as cliche as this sounds you slip into the skin of ‘not just a pretty face’ like it was made for you.

    I hope you’re laughing and that you’re life is a wonderful musical with a happy ending of destined lovers and bright colors and long lasting smiles and AND everything else you dream of!!!!!

    Oho! Congrats on your new blog! And once again, Happy Birthday!

    What do I remember you for?

    Lots of energy, ready to party, fun, invited me to come to Bali/Singapore right away (made me feel welcome!), spontaneous and came out to meet at a few hours’ notice!

    And also, that you are like the most unenthusiastic person when you pick up the phone to say hello!!! lol (picks up after the conversation gets going, sorta)
