I enjoy my role as a CEO of Entrevo, organising events and workshops is always thrilling.. something that keeps the adrenalin pumping and my world turning.
But whilst I’m not engaging in the excitements of meetings , events and conferences, I am working in office with my team or writing emails in the back of a cab!
I’m serious. Although I am proud owner of a car in London, you may find it surprising that I find it more convenient to take a private hire car to get around the city during the day.
Sometimes there just isn’t enough time in the day for me to be on top of emails, but that’s when I add to my productivity and download my thoughts – all in the back of a cab!
These days, I tend to book an UBER – A private hire company which solves the problem of waiting for a cab, paying using cash or not knowing where your hired car is waiting.
You can sms your driver, call him and even rate his service at the end of your ride.
I was so thrilled that I actually got my company to partner with UBER. I’m fascinated by how they have received high growth through collaboration.
UBER through it’s cutting edge technology created a platform where drivers, passengers and companies can partner together. Their growth is a perfect example for strategic partnerships.
(In my book I talk about the triple win model which UBER very aptly follows). The win for the consumer is that you get £20 off your first ever UBER ride booked using the code: KPI
So if your ride was less than £20, you get to ride a cab for free. They really do want you to try before you buy!
I’d be interested in watching UBER’s journey as a company.
And as I like looking at the bright side of life, I have just discovered that there is such a thing as a free ride after all!
(Note: If you’ve already got yourself an UBER ride before through the phone number you are using , you may need to pass this offer on to your friends and family.)
I believe in looking at the bright side of life and sometimes there is such a thing as a free ride..
Cheers,
Darshana
P.S. See the UBER flyer below to claim your complimentary ride worth £20.
