When I was 12, I used to bicycle home from school which used to take me an hour each way. It was a 7km ride and I had two reasons to ride my bicycle fast.
The 1st was to beat the scorching heat of the mid-day sun (28-39 degrees). The other reason was to catch the interviews on Zee TV – India’s first cable and TV channel that was recently launched.
I found the interviews engaging, educational and thought provoking.
Interviews with bright minds from different parts of the country introducing me to a world I was yet to explore. Many interviews offered insights that had a huge impact on my mindset.
Last week I was invited on Zee TV’s Live Interview Show – Zee Companion as a guest. I talked about all things business, being a woman and life . The interview was broadcasted all across Europe through Sky TV and Virgin and soon I may have it on Youtube.
I am grateful and although I am no longer the 12 year old girl who is riding the bicycle, I still look at this world with wonder and trust that what you focus on… expands!
I find myself often focusing on my goals, but I’d like to stop for a moment, take a moment, and reflect on the journey that has brought me to this place in life and smell the roses.
In 10 days, I’m leading my team to break the current GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Most people attending a business speed networking.
As I work towards this big goal and aim for what I want to achieve for me, my team and all those who will attend the event, I stop to smell the flowers and acknowledge my journey.
