A sinking feeling as I discovery that my aunt Tarla Dalal has passed away.
She has been India’s No.1 cook book writer, an acclaimed international writer and had a successful TV career .
She was awarded the PadmaShree Award (the most prestigious for an Indian).
She leaves behind a legacy of 100 books with 1000s of recipes and a wonderful family with three children and grandchildren.
I must say that she has been a truly lived a life of a Key Person of Influence for the last 40 years and has been an inspiration for me.
I am deeply saddened for this loss.
